Tuam Athletics Club
Athletics has been a feature of sporting life in Tuam for well over a century, with Tuam Athletics Club carrying forward the rich tradition over the past few decades. With a membership of close to 500 adults and juveniles, our sport is in good health with participation in multiple athletics events at record levels. The juvenile side of the club is now one of the largest in the country, and facilitate dozens of training sessions each month to cater for children from Tuam and across North Galway. We compete on all fronts at County, Provincial and National level and have enjoyed great success in recent years. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, welcoming and fun club for all who wish to take part, or those looking to compete.
To date, we have no facility to call home. Our club is growing week on week and in order to retain young people in sport, and help all of our members to reach their potential, we need a fit for purpose facility.
Tuam AC are a proud partner in ‘We are Tuam’. We are hugely excited at the prospect of delivering upon a vision shared by Tuam Camogie Club and Tuam-Cortoon Ladies Gaelic Football Club. Our shared objective to deliver a top class community sports facility for Tuam and North Galway is one which will see generations to come share the benefits of. Please support us in our endeavours and don’t hesitate to contact us for further information on Tuam Athletics Club.
